Nicolas Boenisch

Nico joined the FOS Europe team in 2016 and manages FOS’s programmatic work in Europe with Ilke. He’s based in Berlin, Germany and he’s passionate about climbing and bouldering. Before Nico started working with FOS he was responsible for planning, monitoring, and evaluation at WWF Germany. Nico dedicated the last ten years of his professional life to building adaptive management capacity with conservationists. He served as a lecturer for bachelor and master students and, after co-founding the franchise, now leads the European Conservation Coaches Network (CCNet).
