FOS works with a variety of partners around the world to provide technical support and facilitation in integrating the design, management, monitoring, and adaptation of conservation initiatives – in other words, support efforts to practice adaptive management. In particular, we provide five types of services to help achieve our mission to improve the practice of conservation.
What We Do
CMP serves as a leader in identifying better ways to design, manage, and measure conservation impacts. Some key tools include the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation and the IUCN/CMP Taxonomies of Conservation Actions and Threats.
